SFMS Team Participated in the WALK15 National Mobility Challenge for the First Time

Between September 16 and November 16, the State Forensic Medicine Service (SFMS) participated in the National Mobility Challenge, held via the WALK15 mobile application. The SFMS team competed in the category of Public and Non-Governmental Organizations and secured 45th place among 732 participating institutions from all over Lithuania.

Debut Results and Award Ceremony

This is the first year the State Forensic Medicine Service has participated in this step-counting campaign. A total of 81 members from the SFMS units in different cities joined the team, and over the course of the two months participants collectively walked 38.8 million steps (equivalent to walking around Lithuania 16 times). Among all institutions that reached the top 45, the SFMS team was the smallest, successfully outperforming larger teams.

Within the SFMS community, this initiative concluded with an appreciation ceremony for all participants and an award ceremony for the top three winners. The prize winners were staff members from the Serology and DNA Laboratory, the Panevėžys Division, and the Operations Support Department.
