The State Forensic Medicine Service (hereinafter - the Institution) has implemented and a management system and was accredited in accordance with the requirements of the international standard LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The Institution was accredited by the experts of the National Accreditation Bureau.
Compliance with the requirements of the standard is one of the key elements to ensure the optimal satisfaction of the requirements of forensic medical examination and expertise clients - the quality and timeliness of forensic medical examination (expertise) in accordance with international standards – which mobilizes the Institution's employees for a joint responsible work in order to achieve the set goals.
The quality management system includes continuous improvement and optimization of the Institution's management structure, work methods and operational processes, optimal use of the Institution's material and human resources, improvement of the employees’ professional qualifications, ensuring the competence, stability and prestige of the Institution's activities at the national and international level.
