Commemorating World Prematurity Day, the SFMS Donates Cake Day Proceeds to "Ankstukai"
On November 6th, the State Forensic Medicine Service (SFMS), in celebration of Cake Day, organized a charity campaign, during which 1,040.2 EUR was raised. These funds were donated for the "Ankstukai" support fund "Gerų darbų dirbtuvės" and were officially transferred following World Prematurity Day, commemorated on November 17th.
Continuing the tradition of kindness associated with Cake Day, this year the Service’s staff voted to support the non-profit organization "Ankstukai." SFMS units from various cities contributed to the charitable initiative, expressing the institution's shared commitment to social responsibility.
The SFMS community expresses hope that this support will contribute to the improved health and well-being of premature newborns, while also encouraging other organizations and the public to engage more actively in socially responsible activities.
